Stylized J29 Tunnan

The flying barrel !

This is a stylized version of the SAAB J29 fighter aircraft that was called Tunnan (Barrel). Developed by SAAB in Sweden and was in service 1951-1976, it was the first western European fighter to use a swept wing design. Never judge a book by its cover, despite its "cute" and round looks it was considered to be a fast, modern and agile plane that set several records during its time.
